Product Overview

[ Flashforge Guider 2 Review ]

The FlashForge Guider 2 falls into the professional/industrial 3D printing category at a lower price point.

It’s a follow-up to the earlier FlashForge Guider model, with various enhancements. As an example, the print plate of the Guider 2 is 1.5 times bigger than the earlier model.

Though the machine’s build volume isn’t particularly large, it’s more than adequate given its quality. It’s also important to mention the print plate is now detachable. It facilitates and simplifies cleaning.

The case is made of a durable plastic alloy. The Guider 2 is a large and hefty machine, which is to be expected when dealing with professional-level equipment.

Combining a solid structure with an enclosed shell offers better noise reduction, resulting in a quiet machine. The Guider 2 also includes an improved nozzle: offering greater airflow and thus more consistent print quality.

Working with the machine is much easier. The device’s auto bed leveling makes it easier and faster to set up. It’s quite useful to be able to resume printing post power outages.

Filament sensors to detect run outs are standard on 3D printers at this price point. This sensor comes built-in with the Flashforge Guider 2.

3. Build Plate Auto-Leveling
